Two 400w MH's on my 58gal!!
Well, me being the crazy light loving SPS freak I am.. I have decided to add ANOTHER 400w MH to my 58gal tank. I have 1x400w 20K XM bulb from www.hellolights.com and LOVE IT...but I am trying out a 10K Ushio to try and pull some more color and more growth out of my SPS.
I HAD two new spider reflectors...see what i did w/ them..cut them in about 1/2...you will see why. Also pictured are the two sockets
Here is the way I HAD the light in the tank...soon to change!!
Here is how the two are set in the hood in one BIG reflector. the sockets share a common set of screws (middle) and are about 2" apart. the 20K XM is on the left and the Ushio 10k on the right side in this pic
