Equipment/Basic Info

My SPS nano is currently a 20gal high custom tank made by SkyLab Industries with a WalMart stand and DIY canopy. 

Tank:                       20gal high build in overflow (3/4" return and 1" drain)

                                 custom drilled for a closed loop in back glass

Lighting:                 400w Radium - on a PFO HQI 400w ballast

                                1x13w and 1x9w PC actinics

Circulation:             Mag 950 - return pump running 4 1/2" lock-line fans

                                Mag 700 - closed loop w/ SCWD "squid" - Switching Current Water Director

Sump:                      AGA 10gal tank w/ DIY baffle

                                Kent float - hooked to a 1gal slim-line water jug used to dose top off

                                Euro-Reef ES5-2 skimmer (click her to see the page!)

Temp. Regulation:  Aqualogic Dual temp controller

                                 1 - 3" computer fan running 24/7 in the canopy

                                 100w EboJagger heater

                                  Pacific Coast 1/10hp Chiller (runs at 280w and 1.8amp)  pic1, pic2, pic 3

Dosing:                    MyReef custom Nano Calcium reactor

                                        -  4 1/2" x12" dual chamber reactor

                                Blueline regulator w/ built in needle valve

                                20# co2 tank

                                Milwaulkee pH controller

Tank Parameters: 

                                Am - undetectable

                                Nitrate - undetectable

                                Phosphate - undetectable

                                Alk - about 3.8-4.0 (still don't have the ca reactor exactly right...new growth makes it change)

                                Ca+ - about 440
